Chocolate Chip Bars
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups Soy Beginnings Sprinkles
5 Tablespoons refined soybean oil
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 package (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup flaked coconut
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 325°
2. Mix Soy Beginnings Sprinkles, soybean oil, sugar and vanilla.
Press evenly into the bottom
of a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in. pan to form crust.
3. Sprinkle chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut evenly over crust.
4. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown around the edges.
6. Cool completely before cutting.
Makes 24
bars (2 bars yield 6.25 g of soy protein.)
